Gone wild for festival season

Hey you lovely people!

Today I wanne introduce you to a lil´ obsession of mine: neon colours, glitter and all kinds of other exciting stuff you can accessorize your face with! As you can see I love slightly crazy makeup looks. Its´s summer which also means it´s festival season and what better time to go crazy with your makeup and get away with it than now! I´m actually quite lazy with makeup in my daily routine but for night outs and especially at festivals my motto will always be 'the more the better'.

There are of course always people who think these kinda looks are a bit over the top or the ones who rant about how festivals are not about the music anymore but rather a place for girly girls to put on some glitter. Well, without starting a whole 'political debate' here, let me just say: I don´t care! I love glitter, I love to put on facepaint (and if you met me some place other than at a festival you would probably not even suspect that)... and I sure know it´s not for everyone! But that´s okay... and vice versa it should be okay for everyone if some people do like to wear a colourful makeup look.

Just because I am wearing excentric makeup doesn´t mean I am not enjoying the music at a festival or that I am only there to parade around and show my face. That´s total bullshit if you ask me!
I looove festivals.... yes, I sure love my festival makeup looks... but more importantly I love the dancing, the time I spend together with my friends, the fun and crazy experiences only a festival can bring and that everybody seems to be more easy-going and friendly with each other.

I just love the whole atmosphere and that many people express themselves more openly than in 'real life'. So don´t let anybody spoil that for you because the vast majority of festival visitors I encountered were really positive about the whole crazy makeup thing. And not just once did I have to get out my festival kit to embellish total strangers with some glitter and neon colours as well.

And if anyone wonders what kinda products I use for all my festival looks... just have a look at the picture below and you can see the whole content of my special festival makeup bag. Just a bunch of neon colours , some glitter from something like a dollar store called Tedi , any lash glue to make special patterns with the glitter and just anything else shimmery and glittery I could find. Apart from that I also use the typical things like mascara, eyebrow pencil, etc. of course but that´s boring, right ;)

Ein wunderfeines „Hallöchen“ an euch alle!

Heute möchte ich euch mal in eine kleine Obsession von mir einweihen: Neonfarben, Glitzer und alles Mögliche womit man sein Gesicht ganz aufregend aufpeppen kann! Wie ihr auf den Bilder unschwer erkennen könnt, liebe ich recht ausgeflippte Makeup Looks.

Es ist Sommer und das bedeutet außerdem auch… es ist Festivalzeit! Und gibt es denn eine bessere Gelegenheit, um verrücktes Makeup auszuprobieren und auch noch damit durchzukommen!?

Ich bin tatsächlich ganz schön faul wenn es um meine Makeup-Routine im Alltag geht, aber zum Feiern und vor allem auf Festivals ist mein Motto immer „je mehr desto besser“.

Na klar gibt´s auch einige Leute, die einfach nur denken solche Schmink-Extravaganza ist zu übertrieben oder jene, die sich aufregen bei Festivals ginge es gar nicht mehr um die Musik sondern nur noch darum, dass irgendwelche Tussis einen Grund haben sich mit Glitzer einzukleistern. Tja, und ohne daraus jetzt eine Staatsdebatte machen zu wollen, lasst mich einfach nur Folgendes sagen: Das ist mir sowas von dermaßen egal! Ich liebe Glitzer, ich liebe Neonfarben im Gesicht (und wenn man mich außerhalb eines Festivals trifft, würde man das wahrscheinlich nicht mal unbedingt vermuten)… und ich weiß natürlich auch, dass das nicht jedermanns Ding ist! Aber das ist ja auch in Ordnung so… und umgekehrt sollte es für alle okay sein, wenn manche eben gern ein besonders farbenfrohes Makeup tragen.

Nur weil mein Makeup etwas exzentrischer ist, heißt das doch nicht gleich, dass ich die Musik auf einem Festival nicht wahrnehme und genieße oder dass ich nur dort bin, um herum zu stolzieren und gesehen zu werden. Das ist totaler Obermist wenn ihr mich fragt! Ich liiiiiebe Festivals… ja klar liebe ich mein ausgefallenes Festival Makeup… aber viel mehr noch liebe ich das Tanzen, die Zeit die ich dort mit meinen Freunden verbringe, die mega durchgeknallten Erlebnisse die nur ein Festival mt sich bringen kann und ich liebe es, dass scheinbar alle viel entspannter und netter miteinander umgehen.

Ich liebe einfach die ganze Atmosphäre und dass viele Menschen hier sich viel offener präsentieren und ausdrücken als im Alltag. Also lasst euch das bloß von niemandem zunichtemachen, denn die große Mehrheit der Festivalgänger mit denen ich in Berührung kam, hatten durchweg positive Reaktionen auf mein Makeup. Und nicht nur einmal musste ich mein Festival-Kit rausholen, um völlig Fremde ebenfalls mit Glitzer und Neon-Farbe zu verschönern.

Und wenn ihr euch jetzt noch fragt, was genau ich denn nun eigentlich alles benutze, um meine Festival Looks zu kreieren… schaut euch einfach mal das letzte Bild an, auf dem ich euch den gesamten Inhalt meines Spezial-Festival-Makeup-Täschchens zeige. Einfach ein paar Tuben Neonfarbe der Marke UV GLOW, etwas Glitter aus dem Bastelbedarf (bei Tedi), irgendein günstiger Wimpernkleber um spezielle Glitzermuster besser haltbar zu machen und alles was ich sonst noch so finde, das schimmert und glänzt. Ich benutze natürlich auch noch die Standardausrüstung wie Wimperntusche, Augenbrauenstift, etc. aber das ist ja langweilig, oder ;)

Ich überlege auch noch, ob ich zu dem ganzen Thema ein Video machen soll… also gebt mir Bescheid, ob ihr daran Interesse hättet!
